AC Boot Camp Terms, Conditions, and System Requirements

How it works:

Air Conditioning Boot Camp Online is an online recorded interactive online training course.  There will be six training sessions  lasting approximately 2.50 to 3 hours each.  The  first session becoming available at program start date and the remainder five videos becoming available the following week.

Classes are streaming and students will have 24 / 7 access to the recordings  for an entire year.

Students must have access to a compatible computer/cell phone with internet connection capable of receiving streaming video. For cell phone users, make sure you understand how data charges apply with your cell phone internet providers.

Students who wish to receive a certificate of completion and NATE CEU must complete and pass the quizzes online.

A .pdf handout booklet of course materials will be available for download for each training session.  Most class sessions will have homework assignments for students to complete.

Each individual student must be enrolled and paid for separately.  Each student will receive a unique access  to the training sessions.  Access may not be shared and violations will result in removal from class without refunds.

All course correspondence will be directed to the participant(s).

Eric Shidell, the instructor, will be providing live interactive Q and A sessions for students to ask questions and receive answers.  Students will have the opportunity to “raise their hand” and make a comment or ask a question live in real time.

All attendees must be actively employed in a role of air conditioning installation, service, or repair and be ready to move into a role requiring greater skill and knowledge.

Apprentices, Install helpers, Maintenance technicians, and technicians who are want to uplevel their careers are excellent candidates for this accelerated learning course.

This course is not meant for homeowners or building owners who want to “DIY”.  Nor is it meant as pre occupational training.  This class is intended as supplemental training for HVAC professionals who are in the early stages of their careers.

Students must have access to a stable internet service with enough bandwidth and speed to download and receive streaming video.  Desktop and laptop style computers are recommended, but tablets and mobile devices can also be used.

To Receive NATE Continuing Education Hours, you must pass the quizzes. You will receive a certificate with the NATE course ID number on it once you pass all quizzes with a 70% or higher. You will receive multiple tries to pass the six quizzes. Please go the NATE’s website to find out how to submit your continuing education hours with your certificate of completion.

You will receive access to the first session of the program during the first week of the program to make sure that this program is right for you. After this period, no refunds will be given. The rest of the program will only be made available to those who have not received refunds after the first session.
